CREATE-X celebrates its biggest Startup Launch yet — 318 founders strong — with a public Demo Day on August 28 that promises the unveiling of 100 new startups with bold ideas on tackling real-world problems.

Georgia Tech's Fall 2024 Idea to Prototype (I2P) Showcase on December 3 will feature over 50 student-built prototypes, including a digital twin for health screenings and an active shooter detection tool, and is open to the entire Georgia Tech community.

On Aug. 29, CREATE-X will celebrate its 10th anniversary at Demo Day, showcasing over 100 startups and more than 250 founders.

Electrosuit, a startup by Aubrey Hall and Sherya Chakraborty, secured third place in the Spring 2024 I2P Showcase, and their product, a garment for at-home electrical stimulation, targets individuals with chronic pain or motor impairments.

Students, faculty, and alumni are encouraged to apply to Startup Launch Summer 2024 and become one of the over 450 startups launched by CREATE-X.

Through CREATE-X, Corey Hewitt, cofounder of Gimmer Vending, and his cofounder, Evan Jarecki, convinced investors to buy-into their product and launch something that revolutionized the vending industry.

Nathanael Koh (CmpE ’22), Ivan Zou (CmpE ’23), and Bowen “Bruce” Tan (a second-year computer science major) created Raccoon Eyes, to discover why students throw food away and to help dining hall managers address the problem.

On March 31, student startup WheelChariot took first prize in the Sustainable-X Showcase, moving forward their goal to set a new gold standard for accessibility.

After five attempts and a corporate career stint, Richard Lee finally founded his own startup, an AI writing tool for marketers called Supercopy.
